Boiler Servicing
Like cars your boiler should be regularly serviced to ensure that it is operating efficiently and safely. The efficiency of oil and gas fired boilers deteriorates over time. Servicing your boiler to remove the build up of soot and checking it is performing effectively will prolong its life and decrease the risk of expensive faults and/or repairs in the future.
- Clean oil boiler.
- Clean oil burner.
- New nozzle.
- Check boiler thermostat is working in full.
- Check oil filter.
- Check Pressure Vessel (If beside oil boiler)
- Test and tune with flue analyzer to insure burner is running at optimum efficiency.
Typical oil boiler service:
- Bleed radiators.
- Check pressure vessels on heating system.
- Check heating system in general for defects and weeps.
Other items that should be checked on your heating systems:
Flushing Heating Systems
- Reduced fuel bill (up to 25%)
- Improved central heating efficiency
- Removes magnetite sludge
- Cleans the whole system, including under floor pipe work
- Increases pump life
- Quicker heat up times
- Reduces boiler noise
- Stops hydrogen gases building up witch then cause radiator corrosion
What are the benefits of Power Flush?
- Radiator water is dirty
- System is slow to heat up
- Radiators need frequent bleeding
- Boiler failure or lockout
- Boiler noise
- Pump failure
- Pump noise
- Some radiators are partially or completely cold
- Blocked radiators
- Pinhole leaks from radiators
Does my central heating system need a Power Flush?
If your central heating system has any of the following symptoms,
it probably needs a POWER FLUSH:
These problems are result of inertial corrosion scale and sludge forming within your central heating system. Power Flushing is the only way to give your system a new lease of life and is by for the cheapest option in the long run.
